Research And Realization Of Network Performance Management System

With the development of the domestic network application, the network system whose structure becomes more and more complex and scale more and more big needs network management software to guarantee the system's normally transport. The quality of the network management can directly affect the network's transport, the construction is as important as management to network. This thesis discussed the following several questions combining with NPMS(Network performance management system) which was developed by Wuhan Orizone Information Technology Co. Ltd.1. According to the goal of the network management, produced the definition of the NPMS. With the requirements of NPMS, the thesis discussed the network deployment way of the system, the overall software structure, the function modeland introduced various functions.2. Discussed the basic principle, the applicable scope and the respective good and bad points of the mainstream network management protocol at present. Especially, introduced the data format of Netflow and free network performance management tools.3. Discussed the requirements of NPMS, Mainly explained the multitudinous functions that must be realized which based on the gathering system of NetFlow, sFlow. Especially, introduced xflow which is the storage form of the NetFlow, the definition of the area in the system, the problem of summarizing and multidimensional sorting of the massive stored traffic.4, According to the system requirements, explained the basic design thought and the main flow of flowd which is a programme used to collect NetFlow; the design of sFlowd which is another programme used to collect sFlow, explained the basic design thought of flow-mining for summarizing and multidimensional sorting of the stored traffic. Moreover, introduced the development environment of the system and the development modle of TDD.5. In the last chapter, introduced the design and realization of three mainly difficult problems in detail.
