Abstract/Summary:
In the past several years, the 3rd generation mobile system has been the hottest project researched by many companies all over the world. As one of the standards for the 3rd generation mobile system, TD-SCDMA system is catching more and more attention by handset manufacturers and even more corporation partners are involved into research and development of TD-SCDMA system. Currently, as the development of the Base Station and User Equipment of TD-SCDMA is going into an important phase, the industrialization, the importance of TD-SCDMA User Equipment RF parameters measurements is now very obvious. However, the research and development of terminal test, as an important part of mobile communication industrialization, TD-SCDMA has dropped behind the other 3rd generation mobile systems.Based on the above-mentioned background situation, this paper focuses on having the application of the virtual instrument technology in the test of TD-SCDMA terminal, and emphasis on the test principles and algorithm of specific test parameters. Virtual instrument is the new technologies and development of testing field. Defining instruments by software could satisfy flexible and exoteric test requirements of the software radio. Users could test efficiently by the software that defines the required equipments, without a lot of hardware. The successful mobile terminal test cases, which has completed With virtual instrument platform LabVIEW, shows that the research and development of TD-SCDMA terminal testing based on virtual instrument technology is the way forward.This paper introduces a test solution of mobile terminal based on virtual instrument. Then, this paper focuses on the test methods and algorithm Principles of the main transmitter and receiver parameters of TD-SCDMA UE conformance testing. Finally, the program modules of some of the transmitter parameters, by NI LabVIEW virtual instrument software, are prepared, and a simulation-testing environment with existing instruments and hardware equipments is built, preparing a software platform for the control of the hardware and call of the test modules. The structure of this paper is as follows:Chapter one gives a briefing on the relevant background and recommends every chapter arrange of this paper.Chapter two introduces the terminal conformance testing environment and a whole project of terminal test system based on virtual instrument.Chapter three introduces the physical layer of TD-SCDMA, preparing for the following chapters.Chapter four analyses the definition, test environment, test process and test requirements of the main transmitter and receiver parameters of TD-SCDMA.Chapter five reports the program modules of some of the transmitter parameters by virtual instrument software LabVIEW 7.1, and a software platform for simulation testing.Chapter six is the summary for the present work and planning for the further work.
