| Since the entertainment news on city newspapers appeared in 1990s, the lively, relaxing and humorous style and the prompt, objective account of the entertainment news has been welcomed by millions of the readers and thus has become an indispensable part of readers'news reading life. However, during these ten years, especially in the recent years, crisis comes out in entertainment news of the city newspapers, just like the overflowing of false and exaggerated news and the serious violence of stars'privacy. This phenomenon leads to the more and more unfavorable comments from readers. This paper starts with the meaning of entertainment news, analyzing the current situation in two aspects, pointing out and solving those problems, also predicts the developing direction. Wish the paper could bring some enlightenment for entertainment news.The body of this paper is divided into three parts:The first part: the meaning of entertainment news and the necessity of its existing. Compared with other news, entertainment news downplays its actual function, but emphasizes the entertainment function. Although entertainment news is a small part of cultural news, it has a marked difference in many aspects, such as audience structure, reporting purpose and so on. Because of political, economy, culture, society mentality and so on, entertainment news is very important for the audience who live with a faster job rhythm and enormous life pressure.The second part: the current situation of entertainment news and some reasons caused the situation. Each city newspaper has entertainment news, however, its prosperity can't cover up so many problems. The reasons could be: the inner influences of audience, media and stars, lacking of news ethics education, lower media literacy and lacking of the news lows. Those reasons cause the worse situation of entertainment news.The third part: the right ways and the prospects. It is the most important part of this paper. While analyzing the situation and reasons, this paper also provides some methods to solve these problems. The methods can be divided into three aspects: value direction/binding force and practical management. The methods rectify the worst behavior which obstruct the normal development of entertainment news. The methods emphasize ethics. This paper also has a courageous prediction: diverse contents/many different forms. The idea of reporters and editors is open. Every media uses and integrates with entertainment information. Wish entertainment news develop healthily and make a contribution to building a harmonious society. |
