In today's highly competitive marketplace, how to meet consumers' needs in a shorter lead time is very important for an enterprise. So the strategy of developing a product is transformed from product-push type to market-pull model. A well-designed product should not only satisfy consumers' physical requirements but should also satisfy their other needs. In some words, the competition and development of a enterprise depends on the competition and development of product design. As the highly development of Computer Aided Design(CAD) technology , it makes the stylist much more efficient , and more and more new inspiration are inspired. The CAD technology plays a great part in improving the quality of the product, cutting the period of design and reducing the cost of design and manufacture.Nowadays, almost all of the glasses making enterprise is working in a traditional way, deviser and developer have no professional software for glasses design to use. Instead , they have to use CAD software for other field. This not only restricts the improvement of their working efficiency, but also makes the deviser and developer blinkered. It becomes the bottleneck of the whole designing process. In order to enhance the competitive ability of the glasses industry , we must pay more attention to innovative design and correlative technology.Firstly, this thesis presents the actuality and limitation of the glasses design , point out the essentiality of the industry's alteration and exaltation, and develop glasses innovative design. This thesis is arranged as follow:On the subject of glasses style cognize, the thesis presents the content about shape image and color image , explain how to build a image-scale-graph. Then the thesis brings forward a glasses style cognize method based on character matching, which provide a effective approach for the innovative design.On the subject of glasses layout research, the thesis brings forward a method of layout design based on genetic arithmetic, and validate the method by an example. The method can helps the stylist in another way.To validate the methods mentioned above and the effect of the product, we use a compositive appraising technology to appraise them. The appraising technology includes color appraising, glasses virtual wearing ,etc.It can make a judgement of the glasses product and come to a result.At the end, this thesis presents a computer aided innovative design system for glasses design , make some necessary introduction of its pivotal module.
