In today's rapidly evolving global and fiercely competitive economy, companies need to innovate continuously. Product innovation is now recognized as one of the most important strategies for surviving of a company. Product innovation needs more multi-subject knowledge, more complex technology support and more perfect theory of innovation. As the result, creative design based on knowledge becomes the hotspot of research. Traditional CAD software cannot deal with the non-structure problem effectively in the process of product design, then computer aided-innovation (CAI) software emerges as the times require. These software can help the designer strongly for specific problem, but they adopt only one method, and only specific innovative problem can be supported. Along with the development of research to innovative design, the innovative problem was classified, then they were solved using compliant policy.Based on research of needs analysis, concept design and innovative design, this thesis presents a computer aided innovative design system prototype. This prototype can support product conceptual design process which start from user needs analysis to conceptual product, and support Problem-Oriented Innovation, Objective-Oriented Innovation, Media-Oriented Innovation and Product-Oriented Innovation by using different innovative design method.The goal of Problem-Oriented Innovation is improving performance of product or system and solving the prolem which affect the main function of product or system, TRIZ is fit for implementing this policy; the goal of Objective-Oriented...
