With the rapid development of the technology on MEMS(Micro-electronics mechanism System),sensor, network and wireless communication, the sensor network have been put a high premium by the researchers. The sensor network is consisted by a lot of micro sensor nodes through wireless communications. These node, which is integrate by the sensing unit, the computation unit and the communication unit, will construct the sensor network in a self-organized way. The emergency and enhancements of the information sensing, acquisition and gathering derived by the sensor network will interfuse the logic word and the physical world. Thus, the sensor network shows a bright prospect in many application fields. The wireless communication protocol suites are the core technology in the wireless sensor networks, which is very important for support the self-organization and the dynamic accommodate characteristics. The conventional protocol suites used in the MANET can't meet the requirements for supporting the features of the sensor networks such as the energy efficient, application specific, etc. In this paper, we propose the GFPS (Generic Framework Protocol Suite), the new hierarchy protocol suites especially for the WINS (Wireless Inter-Networking Sensor system), a high performance sensor node platform we have designed. The GFPS is modular, and is very easy to extend for supporting other applications. In the wireless sensor networks, the media access control protocol is responsible to divide and allocate the channel, and control the power. It also reckon for providing uniform services for the network layer by mask the different underlying channel-control methods. In this paper, we propose and implement the PMAC (Priority-supported MAC), an IEEE 802.15.4-based MAC protocol. The PMAC take advantage of the multi-channel mechanism under the IEEE 802.15.4 to enhance the packet throughput and delivery rate. we can also provide the QoS mechanism such as real-time and multi- priority class by extend the PMAC.The routing protocol will build and maintain the route table for the sensor nodes in the sensor network. For the sensor node, the route table is used for forwarding the packets. In this paper, we present the CBRP (Cluster-Based Routing Protocol), a dual-mode routing protocol for the disaster real-time reporting applications under the circumstances the sensor network also need to perform multi monitoring tasks concurrently.
