It is very important for radar clutter as an indispensable step in radar simulator design.In this paper,the other clutter models and simulation algorithms at present are summarized.Based on meteorology clutter of characteristrc find typical models,clutters are generated on computer so as to study the feasibility of simulation algorithms and serve the radar emulate.The core of radar simulator is modeling the scatter and transmission of radar echo signal and varied radar clutter signals.So it is very important to study the character of meteorology clutter to find a proper model.And it is very significant to radar simulator design and analysis.The mechanism for clutter is complex,so meteorology clutter is described as random process.Among the characters of clutter,Amplitude distribution and correlation functions (or spectrum) are primary.Weibull distribution and k-type distribution are common used to model clutter amplitude distribution.Moreover,the correlation is often model as Gaussian,exponential or the combination of both.So,meteorology clutter simulation is equivalent to find one method.not only accurate but also fast and generate the sequence with a jointly specified amplitude distribution and correlation function.There two typical kinds of for clutter simulation:one is so called Zero Memory Nonlinearity (ZMNL) transformation.used on a correlated Gaussian sequences to obtain the desired correlated non-Gaussian sequence,the other is based on the theory of Spherically Invariant Random Processes (SIRP).On the theory of SIRP the echo is assumed as the product of a rapidly varying complex Gaussian process and an independent slowly varying nonnegative modulating modulating process. Each of them has advantage slowly varying nonnegative modulating process. Each of them has advantage and disadvantage.We choose one according to the clutter model and the desire.In this paper,we introduce meteorology clutter characteristics at first and sum up model of scatter coefficient,probability distribute model and clutter correlated characteristics model,show two basis method of simulation.Paper study a method of produce gauss sequence in frequency scopes,show many clutter simulated method of probability distribute model.The detailed procedures for the ZMNL of method to the specified models are given.Following above,meteorology clutter modes and simulation results are gived.
