This paper researches the methods of multi-target resolution in beam of PD radar using the modern signal processing methods, based on the ATR lab item, named the research in multi-target resolution and anti-jamming of milimiter PD radar.The structure of this paper is arranged as follows:The prodrome of this paper indicates the background and significance of this research. And then, the PD radar system is introduced, especially its characters. The importances of radar resolution power and ambiguity function are dissertated through the theory of radar multi-target resolution.The second chapter mainly summarizes the PD radar's signal processing. Firstly, the designing of signal and the echo signal model are discussed. And then the Doppler spectrum is analyzed. After that, the applications of the modern signal processing, such as super resolution spectrum estimation and time-frequency, in multi-target resolution are analyzed particularly. The virtues and defects of them are indicated through the contrasts.The third chapter introduces the concept of B-DCFT, and also analyzes its characters and applications. And then a arithmetic of multi-target resolution is brought forward, based on B-DCFT. Some emulators are made to validate this method's feasibility.The fourth chapter gives an example to the applications of multi-target resolution ------the multi-target resolution of hovering helicopter. Firstly, this chapter researches the feasibility to multi-target resolution of hovering helicopter. And then this chapter gives the model of rotary blade echo. The characters of rotary blade echo are studied particularly. Finally, a method of hovering helicopter's multi-target resolution is put forward, based on the characters of Rotary blade echo. Some emluators aimed to the AH-64 helicopters are made to validate this method.The fifth chapter is the tag of this paper. It makes a summary of this paper, and also prospects for the next step of research.
