With the arrival of the information times,lots of data and information have been produced. There exists an important problem that how to make use of the information effectively. Lack of required information has greatly impact on many administer. Eventually, they can not make right decisions. In order to get more valuable information, Decision Support System Based on Data Warehouse is a better technological solution, which can collect data extensively, integrate, analyses, and at last mine the useful source of data. Therefore, Administer benefit from this system, and then make scientific, right and effective decision.This paper introduces the concepts of data warehouse, OLAP and data mining. Combining the practical application in system, the paper deep and detailed study and analysis data warehouse design, data organization, data maintaining, OLAP technology. On this basis, the paper introduces the solution to the Oracle data warehouse architecture, OWB structure, ETL process design, meta-data management and front-end display technology. It researches Oracle data warehouse of the data management technology, OLAP technology, and discussion on the Oracle data mining techniques.The paper takes Jiangxi Provincial government decision support system as an example. On the basis of Oracle data warehouse technology, the paper supplies solution to systematic realization, design of the data warehouse and physical processes. It gives the data extraction and transformation problems encountered and solutions, Materialized View as well as in data warehouse applications. The paper provides OLAP multidimensional analysis of the implementation process and their application in DSS, main functions of the display system.
