High pressure water pump electric engine is the dominating dynamic equipment. The condition is very bad in the well of coal mine. The burning loss occurred frequently because of damp, bad radiating, frequent start under large load. This lead to the stop production which will not only influence the production task. but also leading to accident.Some measurements and the principles protective algorithm are introduced in this paper. Also, the specific design of hardware and software are finished to achieve the intelligent protection, remote supervisory and control, centralized control.When come to the hardward, DSP chip TMS320LF2407 by TI corporation is used as core processing unit to in this system to collect the data and prevent the accident. Main circuit structure, main chips, input channel of simulating quantity, A/D method are compared and demonstrated in detail in this paper. The input and output of switching quantity, communication module, clock circuit are given here. During the software design, the macro structure of main program, interrupt program of A/D sampling, the design of FFT algorithm, design of interface program for man-machine and the design of serial communication design. Visual Basic 6.0 is used here to realize the effective management of database.At last , a SCI serial port of full duplex are used to propose a kind of communication based on RS-485 bus. This design has been proved stable and reliable according to the experiment result for the measurement of performance index.
