At present, domestic coalmine pump motor most using traditional manual control, that is, the artificial add the relays control methods. This approach control circuit complexity,equipment run a low degree of automation, reliability bad, workers labor-intensive and It`s has a bad emergency response capability.In view of continuing improvement the coal production enterprise security requirements for the current country and development of the enterprise's own encountered practical problems, developed based on ARM's coal mine water pump motor network Monitoring System,not only can achieve the water level detection, temperature detection, flow detection, pump start,stop and it`s process control, etc, can achieve data transmission, processing and so on. Therefore,there are have the following characteristics: the water level detection and display real-time online; pump start and stop control; many pumps real-time "shift work"; according to water size and use of power " peak averting Valley" principle, put into operation to control the number of pumps; and Monitoring Center networking, implementation of centralized control.In this paper, the monitoring system compose of monitoring center ,monitoring terminals and remote access.It`s mainly introduction the hardware design of monitoring system, Motor protection algorithm design,Ethernet communications technology and system monitoring software design.Monitoring system hardware design mainly for the hardware design of monitoring terminal, it is used S3C440X as a terminal treatment chip. And in accordance with the monitoring of key parameters such as pump motor current, voltage, the water pumps State of stopping and opening, motor temperature, the water level of well bottom sump, the actual characteristics of the export flow of water pumps, through the ARM Express deal of computing capacity, real-time to calculate the water-pump three-phase active power and reactive power, power factor and other parameters, well bottom sump water level and outlet flow of water pump, the three-phase voltage and current values accurately of water pumps. To deal with the results of computing via Ethernet send to the monitoring Center displaying and printing, while monitoring center sending control commands to the monitoring terminal in accordance with the results to judge, then according to judge the situation whether there is a need to send control commands to the monitoring terminal.In the motor protection algorithm design, Mainly the characteristics of data acquisition system, the phase current, phase voltage use AC signal sampling.The sampling data uses the fast Fourier Transform (FFT) for numerical calculation, to obtain a high-precision measurements.Design of system communication network is according to analysis and design of a two-tier communication network protocol of system. Control Center software developed using Visual Basic6.0. Client uses computer network technology, the use of B / S mode long-range achieves the system of data transmission, in order to query real-time data and historical data, achieve resource sharing.
