Mighty support from Oracle XML DB for XML technology provides well feasibility for many questions, such as describing, storage, share, change of the patient record and so on. It also provides a solve scheme of the Computer-based PatientRecord System which centre is individual.Firstly, this thesis introduces the computer-based patient record briefly. From the research of basic problems in the computer-based·patientrecord develop process, this thesis brings up designing and carrying out the hospital computer-based patientrecord system based on Oracle XML DB, which can make data share and change easily. It also can make the computer-based patientrecord system centre on individual carry out more convenience, and provide foundation of setting up new data center. Then, this thesis researches and analyses the main technology of Oracle XML DB. With this understanding, this thesis achieves the hospital computer-based patientrecord system based on XML DB. This system carries out some basic functions, such as establishment, modification, query, transfer storage and authorization management of the patient record.The main attention of this thesis is how to build, store and display the XML-format patientrecord document which is used for data share and change in Oracle XML DB, not the realize of system business logic. Moreover, this thesis provides corresponding solving scheme. Then, this thesis presents an accidence assume that found a data center to realize the computer-based patientrecord system structural based on XML centred on individual. Finally, this thesis expatiates in the hospital computer-based patientrecord system based on Oracle XML DB. It introduces detailedly how to design, register, load XML schema and how to transfer relation data to the XML patient record document in business database, and store in XML DB Repository, and how to carry out query and display of the XML patient record document by XPath and XSL technology.
