In the recent five years, semiconductor as a high technology has developed gradually. To become the top of the industry, except making great efforts in technology reforming, we also should work on data calculation, Stat. analyses during production. Now a great deal of raw data in PDC company is XML format, but we handle it use traditional way:run a program to transfer it into CSV files at fixed time;parse and save CSV files into relative database;compile HTML page and SQL language to show the result. But when program handle too much data, users have to wait a long time, and this way doesn’t take an advantage of XML. Therefore, we need to build XML based system, enable users to do XML data import, data select and data update for real-time work to meet the magnitude semiconductor data and timeliness requirements.First of all, the status and issues of industry and semiconductor integration work are analyzed to make sure the necessity of semiconductor data manage system be developied by Oracle XML DB techonology. On this basis, the users’business requirements, the functions and core process system are analyzed. Then the architectural structure of the system is developed by the modular designing method. And the key subsystems, such as data import, storage, selection and data result displayment are designed and implemented in detail. Meanwhile, the data storage structure, complicated data selection and how to display in web page are discussed with emphasis. Finally, the advantage and disadvantage of Oracle XML DB based semiconductor data manage system are summarized.
