Information communication is a phenomenon of social activities in all ages and permeating all social activities, it makes the history of civilized society extended and developed continuously. 1980s of the 20th century, along with the rapid development of computer technology, digital information and network technology, every aspects of human society has been changing rapidly. Academic communication is an important component of scientific activities and an important means of promoting scientific development. By effective academic dissemination, researchers can exchange academic information rapidly and generally, and promote the development of scientific activities, thus promoting the growth of knowledge. Along with the development of computer and network technology, environment of academic communication has a tremendous change. More and more scientific researchers are eager to exchange academic information through the Internet. E-mail, FTP documents, Newsgroups have become the principal methods for exchanging information in the field of scientific research and higher education. Digital information is gradually becoming a mainstream of academic information resource in the field of academic communication. Electronic journals, databases etc. have become important methods by which researchers exchange and access academic results. The rapid popularity and development of Internet has promoted the rapid growth of academic communication. The emergence and widespread of Internet mostly change the old way of academic research and academic communication, break down geographical restrictions and provide a new and effective research tools and instruments for scientific researchers. Nowadays, more and more websites appear in the reference of academic papers. We can clearly see that academic resources of Internet impact greatly on scientific research. Because of the network's unique advantages and functions, and the characteristics of an expeditious and timely manner, the academic resources of Internet are important ways which carry on research and access data. The popularity and development of the Internet, as well as the growing number of academic information online, Internet is changing every aspects of academic communication. It should point out that the Internet environment as described above are web1.0 environment. In the beginning, Internet contained the concept which is called decentralization. The presence of Web 2.0 finally made the Internet returning to its essences, namely decentralization, opening and sharing. The new applications of Web 2.0 such as Blog, Wiki, SNS, RSS etc., impel the Internet to a brand-new stage. The influences of Web 2.0 include not only a new method for sharing information, but also generalizing the concept of decentralization. The concept of decentralization grants each user with equality and individuation, stimulates the users to participate in building the Internet, and enables the Internet to becoming an organism which will have powerful vitality. This kind of network architecture will boost up the information circulation to enhance the social intelligence, and ultimately facilitate the productivity greatly. In this paper, the following seven main parts:The first part is introduction, the main topics is the background of this papers, the content research and the status quo which includes home and abroad. The second part is traditional academic communication; this part introduces several the theories of traditional academic communication, which includes A.Avramescu's theory of heat conduction, A.H.MHXaHboB's theory of scientific communication, Sarahsweek's theory of social diffusion, Gefuman's theory of "infectious disease" social diffusion. Fairthorne's active gauge theory of informative flow, Vickery's the diffusion theory of humanistic community, etc.; And it introduces three traditional methods of the academic communication: the formal exchange process, semi-formal and informal exchanges exchange process; also introduces the traditional mode of academic communication:A.H.MHXaHboB's mode of scientific communication, the mode of Garvey-Griffith, F.W. Lancaster's mode of "information transmission circle", the mode of UNISIST; Finally, this part sums up the deficiencies of the traditional mode of academic communication. The third part is the academic communication based onWeb1.0. Firstly this part introduces the origin and development of academic communication on web1.0; Secondly, this part introduces the methods of academic communication on web1.0: the changes of formal communication process, semi-formal and informal communication process and the change of the way about academic acquisition; Thirdly, this part introduces the new mode of academic communication on web1.0, and also analysis the methods of academic communication on web1.0;Finally, this part sums up the advantages and weaknesses of academic communication on web1.0. The forth part is the academic communication based on Web2.0, this part and part 5, 6 is the focus of this paper. Firstly this part introduces the concept, content of Web2.0 and the characteristics of mode and theoretical basis of transmission on Web2.0; Secondly, this part introduces several technologies of Web2.0 in detail. These technologies include Blog (Web Log), RSS (Really Simple Syndication), Wiki, Tag, SNS (Social Networking Services) and so on; then we can apply these technologies to academic communication in order to find out a better way which can promote academic communication better and better. The fifth part is the comparative analysis of academic communication during traditional environment, Web1.0, Web2.0. This part includes two contents: First, the comparative analysis of the ways about academic communication during traditional environment, Web1.0, Web2.0; Second is the comparative analysis of the mode about academic communication during traditional environment, Web1.0, Web2.0.The sixth part briefly summarize the new mode of academic communication based on Web2.0, and this part has been further elaborated though the example of the academic communication at academic meeting and among teachers and students. The seventh part is summary and Outlook, it sums up the main content of this paper, and arrives at some conclusions; this part also makes some prospects for methods and modes of academic communication further researching. As a result of the primary research of Web2.0, people are still lack of thus kind of related knowledge and understanding, and the research about the mode of academic communication on Web2.0 are just on the initial step. Therefore, this paper attempts to analyze the process of academic communication on Web2.0, and discussing changes of methods and modes about academic communication on Web2.0. According to these analysis and discussion, we can find a sustainable developmental direction for academic communication on Web2.0.
