2-D DBF Phased Array Radar replaces the electronic scanning with the mechanical scanning to search and track several targets. The tracking module is the most important part, so establishing the mobile target model, selecting the tracking filter; identifying the relevant gate and managing the tracking quality are included.Based on a 2-D DBF Phased Array Radar, this paper does the research of tracking and designs an advanced tracking algorithm which has deeper theoretical, well practicality and versatility.First, Variable Dimension Filter has used in this paper. The algorithm can track the target accuratly under the circumstances of targets' high mobility. Second, based on the research of the relevant gate, this paper uses the radial velocity in the relevant calculation and proposes the 3-D correlation doors. For tracking correlation, this paper uses crude relevant and refined relevant associated method, and also presents the estimation method of tracking quality. And this paper selects a multi-parameter points aggregating method which is engineering practical interchangeable, easily being analyzed to complete track quality management. At last, this paper offers all the simulations of the algorithm and analysis of the experimental result using Matlab 6.5.
