Realization Of Autostereoscopic Display In Pro/ENGINEER

This thesis introduced realization of autostereoscopic 3D display in Pro/ENGINEER. Realization of autostereoscopic 3D display needs integration of optics, electronics and computer. It can present each viewer the effect of autostereoscopic 3D display without special glasses. The thesis depends on the autostereoscopic 3D display which recently developed by Huadong photoelectric technique institute of Anhui province, The research developed the autostereoscopic 3D display function in mainstream modelling software and promoted the autostereoscopic 3D display in market application.This thesis based on Pro/TOOLKIT for Pro/ENGINEER plugin design.Firstly, it has accomplished the design of interface, realized seamless integration between plugin and Pro/ENGINEER. Secondly, we setted mathematical model between the stereo parameters and the depth of the stereoscopic 3D image for comfortable vision, it provides the theory basis for plugin design. Finally it has completed the foundation and the composition of stereograms. These constituted the essential technology of plugin design. The stereoscopic 3D image demonstration window is obtained by means of working in MFC into Pro/ENGINEER. And completed the level contraction and shift of stereograms based on column-interleaved synthesis pattern, realized the function of column-interleaved through the method of software. It has experimented on the autostereoscopic 3D display in the Huadong photoelectric technique institute of Anhui province and has obtained the good stereoscopic vision effect.The Pro/ENGINEER application is more and more broad. The autostereoscopic 3D display technology will be the mainstream development direction of the future display technology. So this plugin design not only enhances the display function of Pro/E, but also supplies an efficient way for extending the applications of autostereoscopic display.
