The estimate of the software project is an important part in software project management. In project management, you must estimate the amount of the job the human and material resources and plan of the project degree to control the project. And you must estimate the scale of the project at first if you want to make these. Now there are LOC Function Point Analysis(FPA) Object Point and so on in the general use of the estimate of the software project scale. Among these, FPA is the most generally using method. Because FPA can estimate the project scale in the first step depending on the function which will be realized in the project during the initial stage of the project and it could renew the data continuously during the process of the project to realize a continuous and effective scale estimate management.This article on the foundation of the analysis of standard function point method, has pointed out its deficiency in application; used the dual function interpolation to improve the selection of function point value power; enhanced the accuracy of the function point computation;decreased the influence factors which were used to describe the system characteristics but didn't have obviously application effect and added some character factors of system management to the influence factors of system characteristics, thus described the system characteristics more comprehensively and practically. The application of improved function point analysis indicated: this method is reasonable and feasible, having strong maneuverability. It can be drawed by the software project management, thus enhances the level of the enterprise software project management.
