The Cost Management Of The Electronic Banking Software Project

With the improvement of Information and technological level of commercial banks, Number of e-banking software development projects is growing rapidly. There is a lot of intense competition and pressure among software s of electronic banking business, so it is necessary to find the software project cost management problems of electronic banking software project and have a reasonable analysis. The paper is offer a practice case of the electronic banking software project cost management.In order to solve the problems in electronic banking software projects, we put the mobile banking application revision project of G bank as a case, and investigate the cost management issues in software project through literature review, empirical analysis and management decision methods. First the paper describes the electronic banking software in an important position in the channel competition by analyzing the current situation of commercial banks. Second we analyze the cost management process of mobile banking project in each course of the project, and describe the problems that cost management responsibilities are not clear between sectors, cost estimates are not accurate, change control is weak, lack of accounting in outsourcing procurement. Then we analyze the problem and then come to reason. The solutions to these problems include that estimating the cost of using Function Point Analysis, using the whole process of cost management as a business team in the project. The paper gives advices that we use value engineering approach to analysis the cost in the process of requirements analysis, the incremental development and testing. Besides the paper has recommendations for personnel outsourcing base the mobile bank application project. The goal of the paper is to proposes the replicable cost management decision scheme which has wider significance.
