With the development of equipment tending to high speed, high power, good stabilization and large scale, the existing methods show a lot of disadvantages, such as low commonality, insufficient diagnosis knowledge, single solution, incomplete analysis measures. So it's difficult for the existing methods to diagnose the complex equipment faults. What's more, the technique development of computer, network communication and artificial intelligence make the base of MAS-based fault diagnosis system。The research of agent originated from the field of distributed artificial intelligence,The academia has a common understanding of agent as a computation entity which can simulate human behavior and has the intelligence to provide related services。Several agents can be a multi-agent system through cooperation, The running way of MAS is need-oriented cooperation and loose couple, and it's suitable for the distributed and heterogeneous the Intelligent Diagnosis System of Rotating Machinery。This paper analyses the shortcomings of existing plan for the Diagnosis System of Rotating Machinery, With the Multi-agent technology, MAS-based Intelligent Fault Diagnosis System of Rotating Machinery is proposed, It sums up various agents in this model and designs the functionality and structure for different agent. It has provides a organizing structure for MAS-based Intelligent Fault Diagnosis System of Rotating Machinery model。This paper emphasizes the communication technology of Multi-agent in the Diagnosis System of Rotating Machinery. Based on the research of existing communication mechanism and language, this paper proposes a communication strategy based on communication server and the general design and detailed design of communication server.
