The Research And Design Of The ITS Model Based On Web And Data Mining

Along with the incessant development and mature of Web technology,more and more importance were attached to the research of intelligenttutoring system based on Web. The application of data mining andartificial intelligence in ITS (Intelligent Tutoring System) is becomingmore and more widespread and further. The research on intelligenttutoring system based on Web and data mining will powerfully promotethe intelligent teaching as well as the correlation discipline, havingprofound theory and practice significance.This topic was proposed from detail research on the present situationand the prospect of intelligent tutoring system. This paper researched onconstruction principle teaching theory and the instructive function for ITS,consummated the designing idea of all the system's composition moduleand designed certain examples, made every effort to design an moreintelligent and scientific intelligent tutoring system mode.Firstly, this paper discussed and penetrated the present situation andthe existing questions of the ITS, as well as researched on relatedteaching theory and the teaching mode guided by it, for the purpose ofdiligently consummating the guiding ideology of the system model fromthe pedagogical angle, thus enhanced the scientific nature and theintelligence of the system.Secondly, this paper focused on illustrating the designing and realization of the domain knowledge database in ITS, launching on thedivision and expression of the knowledge point as well as theorganization of the knowledge point network architecture, designed thedetailed knowledge points and the knowledge database frame through theexample of the "Construction of data" curriculum.Thirdly, this paper did some research and design on the constructionof the cognitive student model. Trying to design a more precise studentmodel based on the theory of cognitive psychology and data mining, aswell as detailed design on the data table structure and the method ofgaining data in database, changing abstract into concrete. In addition, thispaper also researched on the related theory of data mining technology andput emphasis on how to apply Web mining technology to student model.Finally, this paper designed the concrete module of teacher model inITS, concentrated on the study of the teaching strategy inference engine'sdesign and the process of realization, and creatively applied the datamining technology to consummate the teacher model and finally toconsummate the ITS.
