According to discuss the teaching theory and summarizes development and the research status of the intelligent tutoring system at home and abroad. This paper investigated and designed an intelligent navigation study module which was based on a dual-initiative intelligent tutoring system of the computer basis. By navigation technology, the intelligent navigation study module could make a route of study through it analyzed the student's study state and study characteristic. At finally it realized the intelligent navigation study which was based on Learner-centered and Teacher-centered teaching model. The paper mainly discusses two aspects. On one hand, the thesis has investigated theories which the "Double-Center" teaching model adapts to the intelligent tutoring system. On the other hand, the thesis has designed an effective navigation which was based on these theories. Chapter 1 mainly introduces development and the research status of the intelligent tutoring system at home and abroad. At present, there are many kinds of learning software in our country. But most of them are short of the instruction by teaching theory so that much learning software has not much good resound. Thereby, it is necessary that investigates and designs an intelligent navigation study module which is based on a dual-initiative intelligent tutoring system of the computer basis. Chapter 2 discusses the programmed instruction,the cognitive learning theory and constructivism learning theory and CAI teaching design are directed by the these learning theory. Chapter 3 mainly discusses the development of teaching model and pays more attention to describe difference and advantage between the "Double-Center" teaching model and traditional teaching model. Chapter 4 and 5 expatiate on the intelligent navigation study module exploitation and realization. In chapter 4 and 5, the paper discusses the intelligent navigation technology,knowledge database design. At the same time the paper represented the pivotal technology in whole exploitation process. The last chapter summarized this thesis and advanced shortage. At finally it pointed out the next research plan.
