The explosive growth in network data, the rapid development of roadband, storage has become the foundation and core of the information systems. With the rapid growth of information, enterprises require high safety and high reliability. Storage technology becomes very important, and has become a hot point of the IT research. Researchers put a lot of effort in the regard of network storage technology. Constantly they thought out lots of new storage ideas and network storage frameworks.NAS and SAN storage systems now widely used in various industry applications, and has become an important component of the application system. The performance of NAS is not very well, however the management is complex. The price of SAN is too high, and it not compatible with existing storage systems. Because of those problems of network storage, the researchers put the main objective of the next generation of network storage systems with intelligent, high scalability and high reliability.Review of the current Intelligent Storage Network Storage progress, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the current framework and new ideas. Review the current progress of Distributed File System, research and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of DFS.This paper proposed a scheme named intelligent network disk based on the intelligent arithmetic, and designed the architecture of IND storage system, and discussed the constructing of the IND system frame. This paper designed correlative protocols of EIP and IIP, and proposed a new distributed file system to achieve virtual storage purpose, and proposed intelligent arithmetic. The IND achieved intelligent via intelligent arithmetic. IND storage system avoided one point exception and capability choke point via transferring the function of file server down to IND. IND storage system implemented parallel file transfer via the intelligent scheduling arithmetic in IND. It implemented simulation program of IND storage system in JAVA.Finally, a simulating program was designed and implemented. The result shows that IND help to avoid one point exception and improve the file transfer efficiency. It is expected that IND will be a very effective network storage system.
