With the fast development of film industry and network technology, nowadays 85 percent to 86 percent of information people get are from vision. At present, visual culture has become a main part of world culture. Many thinking activities have been replaced by visual thinking. We are faced with a culture in which vision holds a leading position.Visual culture is the offspring of market economy or the concomitant of commercialization. Visual arts should firstly meet the use value of commodity, produce for the mass cultural consumption and be sellable commodities; in the next place, be the existence value of arts and artistic commodities produced for the spirit consumption. Commodity value is the first and spirit value take the second. The commercialization of visual culture is the outcome of the integrative of culture and economy. Simultaneously, the development of economy has both positive and negative effect on visual culture. We often say that visual art should firstly have spirit value and social benefit, how to harmonize the relation between social benefit of visual culture and commercialization is the central problem that this paper will discuss on the basis of others' research. This study will do good to the together development and mutual harmony of visual culture as the masses culture and its economical benefit.
