Along with the rapid growth of the amount of wideband users in Zhengzhou NetCom Company, the maintenance service is more and more behind the need. Since lack of effective fault detection measure, users complain that the malfunction recover time is too long, so the satisfaction of the customer is degraded. Therefore, it is urgent to develop the wideband 112 automatic detection system to detect malfunctions automatically, focus the malfunction point, send reparation team accurately. It will be very useful to reduce the reparation cycle, increase user satisfaction and increase maintenance efficiency.In this paper, the functionality, structure and programming of the 112 automatic detection system that developed by our company is descried. The main function of this system is to provide centralized, automatic fault detection and diagnosis. At the same time, it will be connected to the current 112 fault detection system, to provide error recovery, automatic reparation request and centralized administration. This system adopt the emulation mode to fetch the user port information through querying the wide band system MIB datebase, then it will activate and inactivate the port, and based on the historical data to analyze and detect error. The position of the malfunction will be focused and the type of the malfunction will be finalized. All the analysis result will be fed to the fault detection system to allow the reparation request be send accurately.The development and application of wideband automatic detection system solves many problems existing in our company, which include: low efficiency of maintenance, slowness of error recovery, and high cost of human resource. It will be a good condition for the development of our wide band business and its maintenance.
