In the transition from 2G to 3G mobile communications today, the new technology will be applied. Growing new mobile network operators, spectrum resources are becoming increasingly strained. Various potential sources of interference are emerging at a phenomenal rate. In China, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and China Netcom, and other operators in several different mobile communications system to 900 MHz and 1.8~1.9GHz occupied spectrum. With voice, data business development and the increasing number of mobile users, the nearby 2.5GHz band may be assigned to alternative band. Improper distribution of different network operators, blind expansion of network coverage led to interference between the different systems. Moreover, the various systems using different methods to improve spectrum efficiency multiplexing to increase system capacity brought the same or adjacent interference. In addition, the system still exist multi-path interference caused by radio wave propagation and the effects of by other radio frequency equipment. Wireless interference signal will bring about many issues, such as disconnection, poor call quality, and channels congestion. The 14th meeting of the ITU-R for 3G FDD and TDD system divided 2.5~2.69GHz band. FCC in the United States in 2004 to allow the use of fixed microwave operations 2.495~2.69GHz band greatly promoted the WIMAX equipment in the research and development of this band. And WCDMA 3G mobile communication system as one of the options that can support a wider range of business, better performance and higher capacity. As the most third generation likely system, WCDMA, operators possible use 2.5~2.69GHz band. This will result in some geographic areas, there IMT WCDMA and WIMAX system of coexistence. As the high-frequency characteristics of the nonlinear device, which will exist mutual interference between the different systems, these may lead to loss of WCDMA system capacity and decline of WIMAX system performance. The research topics are mainly theoretical analysis and simulation analysis WCDMA and WIMAX system coexistence interference in 2.5~2.69GHz band. The system has some types of interference between base stations, base station and mobile station, as well as between the mobile station. System output is mainly WCDMA uplink/downlink capacity losses and WIMAX signal interference noise ratio performance decline. The research project is for China Mobile Group company. It not only provides a useful basis for WIMAX system spectrum allocation, but also decisions on the provision of technical analysis reserves.
