Design And Implementation Of Microsoft SPS-Based EIP Solution

Along with the development of enterprise information, the information technology brings many incomes in the management application for the enterprise, but simultaneously the widespread application of information technology also has brought the new challenge to the enterprise. The major problems are: efficiency of information sharing and the joint operation is low; security and the reliability of business data information cannot be guaranteed; there is not a way for Enterprise's service and the office software integration and the upgrade. To solve these problems which the enterprise faces, the enterprise needs the information portal system to connect the original different reciprocity together, show the benefit of enterprise resources plan conformity, achieve coordination and high efficiency through surmounting departed application environment.There are many kinds of portal solutions in the present market. A mature portal solution should have its own characteristic predominance, such as superiority, maturity and exploitation. Microsoft EIP technology platform takes Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server (SPS) 2003 as the central platform, links person, information and business system of the enterprise through documents management, search engine, single sign-on and other services and functions based on a integrated platform architecture, maximizes the potential of enterprise, fulfills the unification of advancement and mature. It is the best choice of EIP solution.This paper takes the EIP technology in Cofco's application as an example (Cofco is the abbreviation of China National Cereals, Oils, Foodstuffs Import, Export Corporation). The thesis first introduced the EIP concept characteristics and development of EIP, and then analyzed present situation of the enterprise, show the realistic role of building EIP system which is for high integration and fast response. The thesis elaborated the principles of comprehensive integration, cooperation and sharing to be followed for constructing portal, introduced the integration and publish of inner news module, note and announcement module, and enterprise culture module through modularized web part. This thesis also implemented the integration with legacy business systems through SSO module based on single sign-on service, improved the coordinative work efficiency of portal system through the applications of yellow page and calendar, and expanded the instant message function through the development and deployment of SMS module, realized an information portal system in Internet environment. Based on these items, it sums up the result of realization, proposes the amelioration of importing the workflow engine, and carries on the expectation of EIP technology application foreground.
