This project is funded by State Development Planning Commission, and is the Science-Tech Tackle Key Project of HaYaoCiHang Pharmaceutical Co, Ltd.This dissertation is focused on the research of the automation system in distilling process of Chinese Traditional Medicine production. It includes the analysis of technologic process of the distilling procedure, the control mode for distilling process and the design of the system's hardware and software.Firstly, the dissertation generalizes the whole technologic process and the key parameters of the distilling procedure. Aimed at the characters of multivariable, long delay time, strong coupling and destabilization in the distilling procedure, the dissertation analyzes the problems need to be notised in the process control ,and then, a FAPID Control method with artificial intelligence is proposed in this paper. The results of practical application have proved that the strategy obtain excellent consequence.Based on the the oretical research, a DCS which can complete all the distilling process automatedly is developed. The hardwire of the system is composed of IPC, sensor, valve, data collection card and so on.The software which has the fuction of surveillance, management, data processing and so on is designed at the platform of DELPHI. And now,the originally complex Chinese Traditional Medicine production is very easy and simple .The experimental and practical results show that this system can run with fast response and good stability,all the parameters reach or exceed the national criterion. At the same time,the system can stabilize the quality of Chinese traditional medicine and improve the efficiency of distilling process.
