Design And Development Of ERP System In Make To Order Based Small And Medium-sized Discrete Manufacturing Enterprise

As a main body of society, small and medium-sized enterprise acts as a very important role in national economy. Its digitalization level influences the digitalization level of the whole country severely. Though small and medium-sized enterprise in our country has made some achievements, there are also various problems in aspect of digitalization. For example, there is a lack of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software adaptive to characteristic of small and medium-sized enterprise. Therefore, it is important to develop an ERP system for our small and medium-sized enterprise to fit their need according to their own characteristics. Research and application of ERP system will be significant to boost our country's modernization and national economy development.Through studing of the ERP technology development and application situation and the primary principles of ERP, considering the characteristics of Make to Order Based Small and Medium-sized Discrete Manufacturing Enterprise (MOSMDME), this paper points out the problems need to be solved in actualizing ERP.On the basis of requirements analysis about some MOSMDME, the author individually developed an ERP system, NM-ERP V 1.0. The system is developed in Windows operating system by using Visual C++ 6.0 as language tool and SQL Server as database system. This paper also introduces the module structure and the design and development process of NM-ERP system. The system includes some subsystems. They are purchasing management, marketing management, stock management, planning and manufacturing management, finance management, equipment management, logistics management, human resource management, quality management and system maintenance management subsystem. In the part of system's realization, a system architecture combined C/S and B/S is adopted. It makes system have better expansibility and reliability. Object-oriented development method is used, which improves reusability and maintenance of code. Aim at the problems need to be solved in actualizing ERP and the problems meeting in the process of NM-ERP system development, this paper puts forward some corresponding solutions. These research works mainly focus on the information security and the system architecture of ERP system. This paper brings forward an ameliorative B/S architecture model and a digital signature application solution in ERP. For some other problems, the problem about low display speed on large data, the problem on using original enterprise resource etc., this paper has also summarized a corresponding solution.
