Research And Application Of Intelligent District Public Information Service System

With the development of IT technology in 21st century, people are completely stepping into the information era. Especially computer science and network technology have brought a revolution to the way people live. Everyone dream of a safe and comfortable life and getting information quickly. Intelligent residential district composes of five modules as below: public service module, home economics management module, online business module, remote service module, and security system module. The paper focuses on the public information service module in intelligent district.Fist of all, based on J2EE's structure, This paper details the advantages of J2EE compared with the former structure and introduces the development technologies, such as JSP, Servlet, JavaBean and JDBC. Then it is to study the MVC pattern and the application of MVC pattern on J2EE platform. Finally it gives an example of the design and application of intelligent district public information service system, which includes demand analysis, system design, system implementation. The paper mainly focuses on system implementation .Being an embodiment of MVC design pattern, Apache Struts is a prevalent framework in current Web design field based on JSP, Servlet, and XML technology. So it is a classical MVC design pattern framework. Model is made up of JavaBean or EJB that implements the business logic. Controller is constituted by ActionServlet and Action. JSP documents constitute view. The framework lightens the burden to build up the mufti-layer web application and provides components which can be reused. Struts is suitable for kinds of projects especially for large ones which can embody more advantages of struts.According to depiction of the thesis, using the pattern of MVC based on J2EE in the development of Web application can simplify the work of each stage, normalize the development of whole system, help the code quality and the system efficiencies. It brings many advantages for development, such as cross platform, Scalability and maintainability . The system manifests the technical advantages of J2EE architecture and MVC pattern.
