Since the 2nd World War, the radar has gotten on the stage in history. In the last dozens of years, the technique and performance of radar has been becoming great. Detecting speed, detecting distance and detecting angle are the basic functions of the radar. With the improvement of the technique, the new model radars are welled up continually, many new functions are invented as well as the basic functions are strengthened, such as object identification.This dissertation is studied the detecting distance radar based on LFMCW and the detecting speed radar based on continuity electromagnetic wave, using the theories of the detecting distance and the detecting speed of radar. It is in order to manufacture a suited experiment equipment based on the theory of the radar in the experiment of undergraduate, making undergraduate understand the basic theory of radar visibly.The core of the radar system about distance and speed measurement signal processing is 16 bit TMS320F2812, which is DSP produced by TI Company.The modularization theory is adopted during the design of the software and the debugging, so the work of debugging is predigested as well as easier to the maintenance and upgrade of the programs.In this dissertation, the design of the hardware and software of the detecting radar based on the LFMCW are completed, including the debugging on the system and the hardware of CW radar.
