Though Streaming media will become the mainly driving force for future network application, streaming media imposes a high load on the underlying network, and there still exist many difficulties for deploying it in a large scale. Almost all of the existing works on multimedia streaming are based on Client-Server model. If using the Client-Server model, not only the network band of the Server will be exhausted, but also the network band of the wireless-network will be limited.A Peer-to-Peer model is newly-fast developing technique of the Internet in recent years . Comparing with the traditional model, it owns lots of characteristics such as the uncenteration, extensibility, haleness and high rate of the capability and the price etc. A Peer-to-Peer model is ideal as a model to solve the server link bottleneck problem. In the p2p model, multimedia contents are distributed by using the bandwidth of the clients themselves. The clients in system contribute resources to the community and in turn use the resources provided by other clients. Data traffic is not localized on a specific site since the Peers cooperate for sharing contents. It is typical that there is no central server that holds the contents, and Peers work on an equal footing. Now most of the study of the streaming media is lie in the wire-network, the study for wireless-network streaming media is almost in the initial stages. With the developing of the wireless-network technique, the application of the wireless-network streaming media will be an expansive future. The essay briefly explains the status of the p2p technique including the model and advantages of it compared with the traditional model, the concept and characters of the streaming media. Then elaborates the JXME and RTP/RTCP transporting streaming media protocols .A technique of parsing XML using the NanoXML on the JXME was bring forward,a three arrangements streaming media sharing system is designed, and lastly the basic function modules is programmed. Also the system's deficiency and the work will be done in the future is explained.
