Research Of Universities' Secure Network Management Technique

Education information is an important component in the process of national economy. National education and research networks have been set up one after another in almost all of the developed countries since 1980's.It have become the most important infrastructure in education and research fields, and advanced these countries' fast development in these fields.In our country, we attached great importance to the education's informationizatoin. Since 1994 we begun to invest and set up China Education and Research Network.The campus network is a very important infrastructure for teaching and scientific researching. It can enriche learning resources and enhance the educational and management efficiency. The network security is the basis of the campus network. Campus network has some characteristics such as intricate topological structure, burdensome web traffic and high defending grade. It is one of key technologies on how to defend campus network security more effectively in the condition of heavy web traffic and great bandwidth in modern computer network security research field. Here take a vocational-technical school as an example to plan and design a new campus network. We start from the hardware and the software which is needed in this network and simply design it. Considering the flaw of the traditional firewalls, the network security brings forward a new design about the distributed firewalls in which some host firewalls that are packet-filtering firewalls and a control center constitute the whole distributed firewalls with reserving the old network firewalls. It extends the net to the terminal and defends against the illegal visiting and deliberated destroy effectively from the internal net.
