The Achievement Of The Campus Network Security System Based On The Firewall And Web-Mail Technology

In recent years, accompanied by the widespread popularity of computer and rapid development of computer network technology, the whole society has been to a unprecedented change. People are enjoying all kinds of material and spiritual culture, however, we are also subject to increasingly serious security from the network threats, such as network data theft, hacking attacks, viruses, intrusion, even those leakage form inside . Attacks and counter-attacks have become to be an important means to fight between the hostile parts in the information society.In the external attacks, Firewall plays a decisive role as a guardian to achieve network access control in all kinds of the network products. In general, firewalls are usually deployed on the border of network which is protected and according to a series of rules which has been set before, firewalls check the flow form the network and decide to allow or reject the package to protect the network.In respect of internal data transmission, e-mail has been used extensively. E-mail security has become a serious problem. In the course of data transmission, data is easily accessible by those who seek to undermine the implementation of technical individuals or organizations tampering with and stealing. E-mail has proved to be attacked easily .Safety of e-mail have become a major concern.As a kind of network, Campus network has its particularity in addition to a general network in common.In this paper, at first, analyzed the campus network security and firewall basic knowledge based on network security and implement the commonly firewall technology ---- firewall based on the packet filtering. Secondly analysis the exchange of external data, which is based on S / MIME security e-mail system, and implement PKI and S / MIME secure e-mail system. This system will solve the e-mail security problems effectively.
