Under the background of "The Monitor System of Railway in Tian-Lan Road" project, this thesis points the disadvantages of existing security mechanism in WLAN on the basis of a detailed analysis of transmission security and authentication mechanism in WLAN. Considering the security risk and possible defects of WLAN, and combining the security demand of WLAN, we propose a new access authentication mechanism which is tested in experiments, and works wellThe research fruits of this thesis involve:1. This paper focuses on the access authentication period of WLAN, and the 802.1x protocol is analyzed and then it uses the EAP-MD5 protocol as the authentication framework. A wireless access control server is constructed.2. It realizes the EAP-MD5 authentication way based on the 802.1x protocol, it uses the way of fixuped ip address binding mac address to realize the way of controlling the ports.3. And it increases the security by the identification of the authenticator and the authenticatation server. After this, we puts forward a method to implement it.Through theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate that the Authentication System can implement control on wireless access point, which means it is feasible for Monitor System of Railway. In comparison with others, the Authentication System has these characteristic: open, easy-to-configure, better security. Meanwhile, this accessing authentication method can outreach the other application fields with a strong value of application.
