In recent years,WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network)has played an important rolein network technology and been wildly used in campus,companies and airports wherethe requirement for the mobility of the network is stringent.Along with the convenienceit brought into people’s life and work,its safety problem attracts more and moreattention. If the security problem of the WLAN isn’t solved efficiently, it would hinderthe development of the WLAN.Firstly, this thesis introduces the existing security protocol IEEE802.11i in WLAN,analyzing its protocol interaction process and key management.Secondly,a new WLANprotocol WLAN-AHP(WLAN Access and Handoff Protocol)is put forward,whichefficently strengthens the security and flexibility of the WLAN.Finally the originalsystem of the WLAN-AHP protocol is designed and implemented.In order to testing the WLAN-AHP protocol’s performance,a testing system for theprotocol is designed and implemented.This protocol testing system can test not only thenew protocol’s validity of the EAP,PAE state mechine,but also the running time of theprotocol interaction process.Finally, the running environment for the WLAN-AHP protocol is set up.Then thenew protocol has been run and tested successfully.The experiment results show that theWLAN-AHP protocol can run more efficiently and safely. |
