Research Of The MAC And TCP/IP Of WLAN Monitoring System

During the course of my graguate,I have not only learnt the basic knowledges, but also participated in the development of several projects,included the Gbits firewall based on Intel 2400,the WLAN(802.11b) monitoring system,the reporting system of a network device of China Telecom and the mixed GPS location system and so on.The dissertation is a result of my research and development work during my graduate studing period. It is divided into two parts, one is the research of the MAC and TCP/IP of WLAN(802.11b) monitoring system,the other is the design of management subsystem and the testing of multicast of the firewall system based on NP. In each part, I'll introduce the theory of the projects concerned first, and then the design and result.The first part,the research of the MAC and TCP/IP of WLAN (802.11b) monitoring system,includes three chapters.They are the WLAN,The WLAN monitoring system and the protocols analyzing module.The second part,the design of management subsystem and the testing of multicast of the firewall system based on NP,includes four chapters such as introduction of the NP,introduction of the firewall system, the design of the management subsystem, and the testing of multicast. And they are laid out as the order above.
