Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol that are used most widely now have become one of the most common used network standards. This paper researches how to combine embedded system and Ethernet, implement TCP/IP protocol at embedded network terminal based on RTL8019AS chip. These can help to realize network connection in embedded system.We use EASYARM2200 as our hardware platform of the entire system, which adopts Philip LPC2210 chip as the central process unit and we plant embedded OSμC/OS-Ⅱin this chip.we choose RTL8019AS as our ethernet chip. These are the base of whole architecture. After the construction of system,we research the software programming of RTL8019AS and implement the TCP/IP protocol stack by referencing RFC documents LWIP etc. And using Utility interfaces provided by operation system,they are the core part of this paper.At last, in order to test the stability and robust of the protocol stack, we need to write a small application on this embedded system as a network server to communicate with pc client.In the implementation of whole system, we use c and assembly language as our main development tool.The planting code ofμC/OS-Ⅱis written by assembly language while the software for RTL8019AS and TCP/IP stack are written by c language.This paper mainly refers to two difficult techniques.They are planting of the embedded OS and the implementation of TCP/IP protocol stack.The first one is the basic platform of the whole system and the latter is the basis of network communication.Finally,we give the objective and comprehensive evaluation to the system and make recommendations to further improve.
