With the appearance of Smart Home, the standard of Smart Home has been constituted in American, Japan and other countries. In April 1999, the guide of Chinese housing district intellectual technique was constituted. The function of safe guard, network communication, net-based information appliance and automational equipment are combined in Smart Home. The comfortable, safe, convenient and natural condition is provided.Smart Home Controller with independent intellectual property rights is designed. Many sub-systems in the house are united by advanced computer technology, automation technology and network technology. With management as a whole by Smart Home Controller, the life is more and more comfort and safeness. Appliance controlling system, auto meter reading system, access control system, home security system, community antenna television, Ethernet network, telephone network are combined by Smart Home Controller to achieve family security, family financing, service of community, family E-nurse and other function.The 32-bit multimedia chip Virgine G2 is adopted in the controller. Each device interface circuit, communication interface circuit and overlap display circuit of image, graph and character are developed. Hardware structure figure and communicate interface figure are given.Real Time OSμC/OS-II is embedded in Virgine G2 based on EISC STUDIO development environment. LwIP protocol and USB interface protocol are transplanted intoμC/OS-II. The main module software flow chart is given.Smart Home Controller has a vast market foreground. It accords with the developing and guiding of industry in China. In the future, it will become the fashion of life. Smart Home Controller has vastness potentialities of market.
