Oil plays an important role in modern industry/traffic/military affairs and so on. Bulk station is as important as oil, as a ligament coordinating oil production and the transportation of product oil. With the development of automation, the automatic management of bulk station becomes possible. This paper focuses on the development of the oil depot automation system design and communication design; propose a specific solution on hardware, software design and circuit design. According to the practical requirements, complete the processing of flow pulse, temperature signal acquisition and processing, static and overflow signal monitoring, parameter of oil display and preserving, the design process of control valve, and research the reliability of the system. Meanwhile CAN bus communication technology was selected. Basing on the CAN2.0 agreement, developed the specific communication protocol. Realize the data-sharing, thus enabling the system has the features of data information and diversification. Improve system performance.
