Both the stability and sustainability of business system and information security are received unprecedented attention now. But the high cost of disaster recovery(DR) system and the under-utilized backup system put most companies out of the reach of disaster recovery. Now the key data are stored in the database. This essay is based on the data from the database to establish the sharing DR system so that each company can pay a share of the high cost. As a result, the company which installs the recovery system will have the ability to recover its business from the sudden incidents. Due to this, if the recovery system can be widely spread, it will make a great contribution to the security of business.Research shows that 80 to 90 percent of SMEs cannot survive after disastrous loss of data. That further proves the importance of the construction of disaster recovery(DR) system. Sharing the DR technology has become a trend and it cuts the cost. Technically, a DR sharing platform based on current stable techniques(including database duplication technology and virtualization) should be established to provide integrated services for date and application. A data replication method that meets all demands should be made to backup date from the main production end to the DR sharing end so that key data can be stored when emergency occurs. Meanwhile, the DR sharing end meets the basic demand for data access and responds to demand through the existing internet resources so that it is able to allocate and calculate resources in reasonable ways.The main points of the essay :1. Details about DR system and its application.2. Specific comprehensive comparison about the construction of DR systemand advantages and disadvantages of the system.3. The design of a platform for Multi-users to use simultaneously. Throughvirtualization and storage partitions, one key pressing function can be usedin the data guard.4. Many methods on how to make the data safe in the shared platform.5. Two examples on how to utilize the data guard system.
