In the simulating experiments studying the impacts of wave on coasts, harbors and ships, a wave-making machine used to simulate natural waves is needed in the process of marine construction in aspects of mechanical traits and statistic characteristics. Then assisted by proper models the results can be more practical that contribute to the accuracy of building and ship design. The methods in the previous are roughly simple that is not capable to solve the distortion in the quadratic reflection experiments.This thesis, based on the traditional wave-maker theory, enables the resolution for the problem of re-reflection in hydraulic engineering experiments by adding the non-reflection controlling function, and consequently improves the precision of simulated tests on the construction of coastal, harbor, watercraft, and offing engineering. By adopting experts'research overseas, the discussion plays a premium on the practical engineering application of the non-reflection wave-making theory.This thesis has managed to deduce out the controlling equations of the motion of non-reflection wave-maker, design the program according to the equations above, construct the hardware system for non-reflected controlling, and complete the design of non-reflected module.In the following, the thesis has carried out the comparative tests on the reflection wave-maker and the non-reflection wave-maker by taking the non-reflection controlling system as reference. The results have illustrated the effectiveness of eliminating the re-reflection in the simulating tests.At last, the whole work was summarized, and the further work was anticipated.
