CRBT service is a newly risen intelligent voice added service, it has developed rapidly and gained an important position since China Mobile first thrust out CRBT service in mainland China from year 2003. SHENZHOUXING and SMS service etc are started by International Standard Organization and accomplished with corresponding norms, the service system structure is comparatively sensible through long term network operation and norm optimization. While CRBT service is different from the traditional communication services, it is a newly developping service created by China Mobile and its suppliers. Since the CRBT service is newly developing service with immature technology and lack of support by Standard Organization, there is a further require for an in-depth research study to optimize and consolidate the CRBT Network, take full advantage of the resource of CRBT Network to maximize the enterprise's benefit, minimize the network operating expenses, improve the utilization of the equipment, reasonably adjust the parameter of the CRBT Platform to obtain the best running status, and steadily satisfy the related technology and signaling to make it to be a matured stable service and more widely used to satisfy the rapidly developed requirement and improve the service quality, decrease the breakdown rate of the facility. With the increasing competition, we are trying to keep the present customers and attract new users, we must transfer the service emphasis from network construction to network service and management. It is a necessary and urgent task to accommodate the competition environment, renovate and optimize the CRBT System Network to satisfy the further requirement of development.CRBT Network optimization is a complicated, arduous and long term system engineering work. The thesis discussed implementation scheme and concrete method of optimization from four different aspects.1. The technology realization scheme of the new service should be constantly developed and integrated; besides there should be different consideration in different stages to fit the development requirement of the service. The thesis investigated sorts of the realization methods of the CRBT service technology, explained the evolving method used by China Mobile for CRBT technology, and prepared for CRBT system optimization. Currently the technology realization methods of CRBT can be included as SCP Scheme,In Bound CO-IWF (In Bound Central Office Inter-Working Function),Out Bound CO-IWF(Out Bound Central Office Inter-Working Function), this thesis introduced group network structure and calling signaling flow of different technology methods, analyzed the evolving process of CRBT service performed by China Mobile, compared the pros and cons of different technology schemes, and posed suggestions for technology realization scheme adopting in different developing stages. In the beginning development period, the number of customer is relatively small, in order to realize the CRBT service to occupy the market, the operating supplier can use SCP Scheme, and also consider the mixture of network then transit step by step for different servers supplied by different suppliers to avoid waste of relay resources form CRBT platform to every CO-IWF. The Out Bound CO-IWF Scheme should be used when the related conditions are met in the rapid developing period of CRBT service.2. There is an increasing requirement for CRBT processing ability with rapid growth of customers. China Mobile has updated 5 times for the CRBT capacity with huge investments since 2003. How to improve the production yield, minimize the price for CRBT processing ability and improve the service quality are the most considered questions for operating suppliers. In June 2006 China Mobile had upgraded the overall server and HLR all over the province, implemented the Out Bound CO-IWF Scheme. The allocation of resources is optimized in accordance with the changes of technology realization scheme. The thesis discussed the improvement of utilization rate of CRBT system, which improve the processing ability, save investment through reasonably allocate the CRBT system resource. SCP and In Bound CO-IWF were used by China Mobile initially, the resource optimization scheme was let out through the analysis of occupying ratio of CRBT system since the Out Bound CO-IWF was used in June 2006. Lots of relay resources were wasted when the SCP Scheme was used by Changchun and Yanji areas. After the Out Bound CO-IWF Scheme was used, the relay resources was statistically analyzed and planed, the extra electrical circuits were tore down, after adjustment, the relay resources decreased from 682 trunks to 276 trunks, 406 trunks were dismantled, and therefore the port resources were saved. Simultaneously relocated the resources of CRBT system for SM Model, VP Platform, and VRS etc to reasonably optimize the overall resources and improved the utilization and service quality of the network facility.3. There is an urgent potential need for the optimization of the CRBT network structure since the rapid growth of CRBT for its self propagation and the change of technology from 2G to Core Soft-switching network, 3G R4, 3G R5 will have a rapid growth with the issue of 3G license in the following 2 years, both the structure and network of CRBT system are facing a rigorous challenge, at the same time the service is lack of support from ISO and technology structure, all these disadvantages will make the system un-adapt the growth of the development of the service and evolvement of the network structure. The thesis focused on two aspects of the optimization of the CRBT group network to fit the growing needs of development and improve the security of the system.⑴Currently CRBT system is in the same Network Segment with MEM and CTISERVER, the network link between MEM and CTUSERVER could broke if the other part of CRBT system was abnormal. The new method separate MEM and PORTAL server into different networks to minimize the broadcast information between the communication layer and application layer, decrease the possibility of affect to MEM from LAN broadcast information.⑵The separation of CRBT application and service improve the development of service and online speed to satisfy the market requirement. The stable core logic management level fit the security requirement of the facility.4. The reasonable set of the CRBT system parameter can effectively utilize the system resources, improve the utilization, decrease the hidden danger and breakdown rate, enhance the stability of the system. For different provinces have their specialty and independency, the standard set up format can't be used entirely, reasonably adjustment of parameters should be made according to the practice. It is important to adjust and optimize the system parameters according to customer's feeding back and the system's loading requirement. The adjusted parameters will provide better network service quality of CRBT system to satisfy the customer. However the inappropriate parameter will lead to a bad quality service which will loose customers and lead to a financial loss of the operating provider. The equipment of CRBT Platform is relatively complicated, which includes switching equipment, telecom computer integrated application platform, service management platform, service display portal etc. Through checking the key network elements of AIP server, CRBT platform components, database, and minicomputer to analyze the hidden security danger and implement the optimization scheme to improve the stability of the CRBT operating system.The CRBT system optimization is a long term process, which runs through the entire network development; this thesis contains the long term work experience summary about the maintenance and optimization of the CRBT network which has its own practicability and manipulability.
