Design And Implementation Of Data Warehouse For Electric Power Marketing Based On Oracle

Electric industry has made great improvements after several-years development. Many basic application systems have been build up and run steadily, such as power sale system, customer service system, load management system, metrological verification system, power metering system, monitoring system and SCADA system and so on.However, it exists some disadvantages in present application systems, for example, there is no common knowledge in resource building-together and sharing models; Information systems which have been set up are laggard and can not provide basic supports to macro-decision because of departments separation. As the result, they restrict the analytical ability of leaders and informationization in electric industry.In order to optimize the resources and integrate system information in existence, the paper advises that we should set up electric power sale database warehouse by analyzing other relative business database warehouse. In addition, taking indexes as centers, we complete information-conformity and data-analysis in electric industry by applying database warehouse technology and business intelligence technology.The main innovation ideas include four points, as followings:(1)Set up a database exchange center which is open, normal, safe, expansible and advantage in technology, and realize the information-integration and resource-sharing in electric power sale.(2)Establish the corresponding subject analysis models of the DW according to the analysis demand of electric power sales.(3)Realize the sale database automatic extracting and translation according to the designed DW model. (4)Realize sale dada analysis by data mining and multi-dimensional in online technology etc.(5)Distribute the analyzed daily sale data/report forms automatically by BI and support dynamic information query.
