Flow is an important factor which needs frequently measuring and controlling in the process of industrial produce. The Coriolis Mass Flowmeter (CMF) is a kind of advanced direct measurement flowmeter based on the effect of Coriolis act. CMF is composed of first device and secondary device. First device includes vibrating tube, exciter and sensor. Secondary device is to deal with signals from the sensors, which is used to detect the vibration of the tube. With it's excellent performance, it is very attractive to research and develop CMF.The purpose of our research is to develop a new kind of digital CMF with higher precision. In this paper, we put emphasis on signals processing of secondary device or signals processing system researched and implemented. This thesis presents some new methods to improve measurement precision. And on this condition, we develop a prototype of CMF's circuitry.This thesis firstly introduces the background of the thesis and the meaning of researched, analyzes the domestic and overseas of situations of research and production of CMF, points out the main context, the innovation points and researched method of this paper.Then, sets up signals processing model, probes into the processing of phase difference of the CMF, improves on basic technique of measurement of phase difference.At last, we present the framework of our CMF hardware circuitry and the design of system software. We use impulse counting method to detect the phase difference of the CMF in hardware system. We design software of single-chip microcomputer with C51 and master computer software with VC. The thesis also discuss Universal Serial Bus implemented in flowmeter. At the end of this thesis, the author presents some advice on further development work.
