Monochrome laser has a good nature and direction, is widely used in fields ranging. Laser Ranging technique they use time of flight method, by measuring the optical signals from the flight line at the test time required to measure the distance. Ranging more widely at this stage method of application is mainly pulse ranging and phase ranging, this measurement of the oil pipe under the project application background, there is an artificial measurement of the length of pipeline measurement error large, low operating efficiency issue, laser measured as the core of the pipeline Intelligent Measuring method, using phase-based method to complete a high-precision laser ranging techniques of laser length measuring instrument design and implementation.The design of hardware using SCM + CPLD architecture, the laser pulse using 100MHz frequency modulated signal, after mixing, filtering, amplification processing, high-speed CPLD to phase the final phase the results will be sent to microcontroller. MCU to complete the main part of the function of man-machine interface design, human-computer interaction through the completion of phase results CPLD to read, display, storage, computing and so on.High-precision laser length measuring instrument is easy to perform, stable performance, reliable, high measurement precision, small error and greatly improves work efficiency and management level jobs.
