Research And Implement Of A System For Transmitting Video Wirelessly Based On Windows CE

As the development of Communication and Computer technology,"later PC time"has come.People want to know more information,not only audio and text,but also video.Television is very popular,but video transmission in local area is rare.This project is to deal with this problem,to design a system which transmits video signal wirelessly in local area .It will be used in area where is difficult to pave wires but need to acquire video signal.This system is composed of hardware and software.Arm processor is used as the controller of the system.By choosing proper chip,we design an embedded system.Acquiring video device is VIMICRO camera,which is very popular on the market. Wireless transmission device is wireless network card, the transmitting speed of which is 54M in no obstacle environment. Operation system is Windows CE,which is Microsoft's production. It is designed based on many modules and very easy to use. The operation system can be customed with Platform Builder based on demands,in this project,we should add modules supporting picture and local wireless network. The program running on the Arm board can open the camera,initiate it,acquire picture, send MJPEG video to PC with real time protocol. The program running on the pc accepts the video signal by multi thread technology,decode the video stream and show it on the computer.After designing, we do a elementary test on the system. If the distance of Arm board and PC is not surpass 50 meters and the environment has no obstacle, resolution ratio is 320x240,we can transmit the video fluently,and lost frame is very little. So I can say the system reachs the primary demand.
