| The system described by this paper is a remote audio and video transporting system. It is designed for DR. Pharm Precision Machinery CO.,LTD for monitoring production deparment and talking to workers in the office or other places. It is composed of one PC and several embedded terminal, they are connected by Ethernet. The system was deployed in December 2008, and has been work well since then.In first chapter, the paper gives some basic knowledge including embedded technology, VOIP and remote monitoring. Chapter 2 detailed introduces the hardware and software platforms for the system. Chapter 3 studies the soundcard driver of the embedded terminals. Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 separately give designs of the VOIP and remote monitoring system in embedded terminal and PC platform. Chapter 6 tests both video and audio system then give a sumrize.The most creative part of this article is VOIP and remote monitor video server are combined in the embedded terminals. This design makes the best of the hardware resource at the same tine reduced costs. In addition, as a made to order system, The customers' facility are always take into account, so this design has many new points.The main task of the paper including: studying the knowledge of embedded system and VOIP knowledge, look at the datasheets of CPU chip and sound codec, transplant the linux kernel and VOIP software to the hardware platform, ,develop the server and client programme for video monitor. At last we summarize the finished work, then test and estimate the system. |
