Usability theory was published in the late 1970's. Although there was not a long history of the development, Usability Engineering had attracted the attention of more and more industries and achieved a lot of study results in this field. Domestic and foreign researchers had brought forward about 100 different types of usability evaluation techniques, which were suitable for different projects and fields. But most of the researches they only focused on studying single usability evaluation techniques, and most of usability evaluation techniques had been raised and tested based on the foreign trade background. Few researchers researched systematic evaluation models, which especially applied to domestic small and medium-sized software and IT companies which were the absence of experiences in the field. This paper established a new kind of Software Usability Evaluation Methodology—the Guided Evaluation Methodology, based on the "3D" concept which The American scholars A.D. published in 1969, the software engineering fundamentals "waterfall model" development model and "V" model study-guided methodology. The methodology helped developers found the problems as easy as possible, and remedied them to avoid more losing in the time and money. GEM instructed freshmen in the Usability Evaluation and small or middle software companies to process Usability Evaluation more efficiently. Through the actual SCRM system assessment project using the new software model, developers could understand how current users used and evaluated the new system SCRM, to improve SCRM accessibility and Learning. In practice we certificated the Guided Software Usability Evaluation Model operability and efficiency by the Eye-Tracker test, and refined the model module. This research would improve the assessment of availability of software development, and promote the availability of works in the small and medium enterprise software and IT penetration, and enforce the overall quality and competitiveness of the China's software industry.
