Research Of Network Protocol Test Suites Based On TCL Program Language

This thesis is about of the research of programming using TCL to test the network protocol function of the level 3 Lan Switch.The appearance of level 3 Lan Switch makes the IP network become more economic network linktype,it can realize routing like router,at the same time,it have more higher speed,more lower cost,more flexible.With the prevalence and development of IP network,there are more difficult request to the function and performance of the level 3 Lan Switch,we have a large of test to do for ensure the diversification and quality of the network service,and provide high efficiency service to the users of the network. As above,the testing means soft testing including all of the function and performance.A type of testing tool based on script language appears with the development of test theory and practice.The script is a type of computer language including many command.It can do many commonly testing and impossibility testing throughing handwork.The base of realization of auto soft testing is simulating tester's process and operation through idiographic program like translate and edit system.Athough it can't realize all the testing work ,it can take efficiency revolution with the requirement and development of testing technic.It is a valuable work.For empodering script ,we should study the network protocol first,then make reasonable testing scheme,and realize the scheme at last throughing computer technology. This is the pan of our work and this article.We will empolder one test tool including many testing with the network technology,testing theory and computer technology.This test suites is used more and more in the process of producing of several kinds of Lan Switch,and about one thousand test cases including thousands of checks are done,it obtains good test effect.
