Research And Realization Of Ason Routing Protocol

In this paper our study mainly includes three parts.The first is the design and implementation of ASON's routering protocol based on the OSPF protocol. The second is the design of routing protocol simulation system.The third is the research of connection preemption algorithm.1. Document RFC3630 specifies a method of adding traffic engineering capabilities to OSPF Version 2, using Opaque Link State Advertisements.This extensions provide a way of describing the traffic engineering topology (including bandwidth and administrative constraints) and distributing this information within a given OSPF area.It can be used in ASON Control Plane to distribute ASON routing information. Chapter 3 describe how to implement OSPF-TE protocol .The implementation is based on a Linux routing software.2. Routing in optical network has more special characters than in IP nework, In order to test the protocol implemented in chapter 3,chapter 4 design a routing protocol simulation system.This simulation system works in Centralized scheme, it can set up or delete connections, works like ASON control plane. The result of simulation indicate that using OSPF-TE protocol as ASON routing protocol is effective and coincident with the system's demand.3.
